Many Windows OS users doesn’t know very much about how to install Internet Explorer 8. This new version of Microsoft browser is superior to IE7 and the outdated Internet Explorer 6 and you should install this version on your PC. If it’s the first time when you must install IE 8 on your computer and you don’t know how installation of Internet Explorer 8 works, we will guide you in this tutorial.

Installation steps:

1. Make sure you have a valid genuine license for your Windows Operating System. Without a genuine license you cannot install the new Internet Explorer 8. We advise you to purchase a copy of your OS directly from the producer website.
2. You must download the latest version of installation kit of IE8. The location for download is the Microsoft website. In this step you must select exactly the .exe file you want. You may choose the language of Internet Explorer and you must select which is the previous version of the browser, installed already on your computer.
3. After the correct selection you must click on the Download button and to save the .exe file provided my Microsoft. You can choose to run directly or to save and run after downloading. We advise you to save the IE8 .exe file in the first stage and after that, to perform the installation process.
4. You must click on the .exe file saved in the previous step. The installation of IE8 begins.
5. In this stage you are asked if you want to participate on Internet Explorer improvements by sending the problems with the browser to the development team. Usually you can select I do not want to participate right now. After the selection you must click on the Next button to continue the installation.
6. In this step you must agree with the License agreement. You must accept the Microsoft agreement by clicking I accept. If you are not accepting this agreement, the installation process will stop.




7. This step of installation is made for updating. You must choose from the pop up menu the Install updates menu. After that you will Get the latest updates existing for Internet Explorer 8, for Windows Operating System and for the default Windows Malicious Removal Tool. After this selection you must click on the Next button and the installation will start. The process will take few minutes. You must be patient and do not unplug your machine in all this time, if you want to install correct the updates and IE8. At the end on the install process you must reboot your computer, to finish the installation.
8. After rebooting you can see how Internet Explorer looks and performs. You must initiate the browser from the desktop icon. You must run a short first-setup process, with few stages, exactly in the order from the screen-shots.

In this stage you must turn on the Suggested Sites feature

You are asked to choose your settings: Express settings or Custom Settings. Usually you can choose the Express Settings.You must choose the default Search provider. The default Search provider is Live search.

You are asked if you want to choose the default search provider to be updated or not.

In this stage you can choose the default accelerators or you can turn off all the accelerators.

You are asked if you want to turn on or deactivate the SmartScreen Filter, integrated in IE8.

In this stem you must choose your default browser. You can choose the latest Internet Explorer or other web browser.The final step in this process is to Enable / disable the updates for Compatibility Settings.These are all the steps necessary to install Internet Explorer 8 on your computer.
